Now anybody can sit around agonizing over which wheels to order on their new Porsche Panamera Turbo. A well-built configurator is now live on Porsche's Web site and it provides a good look at all the various options available for the new Porsche sedan.
You want your Panamera in purple (that's Amethyst Metallic) or maybe a nice sea foam green? Check out the two-tone interior colors, too, they're a much better idea than the "special" exterior colors.

I know the Turbo has the prestige thing going but the 4S seems like a pretty good deal, especially compared to a Bentley or Maserati...maybe it's just me...

@ Stovt, you are right. A Carrara looks good even in brown, but these funky colors do not help. My favorite color is "Carrara White". The rest are icky-poo.

The 911 is ugly too, always has been. Doesn't stop me from wanting one.
If I want beautiful, I'll buy an Italian supercar. If I want a supercar that works all the time I'll buy a 911.
I'd like to see an AWD wagon version of the Panamera so they can drop the Cayenne. Being ugly AND a bad idea is too much.

calling this car ugly is the same as complaining about rain being too wet. It's still going to sell and a lot more people will think it's gorgeous. This whole whining about Panamera's looks seems silly to me.

billt9, this is what I find not pretty:
1. The Ford-Fusion inspired front fender and door indent.
2. The long profile, and rear end that appears to be carrying a load.
3. The car's proportions are wrong, a al M Coupe, or a Hearse.
The rounded rear end is executed better in the Crossfire.
