BMW announced pricing for the 2010 X5 M and X6 M today, and as we expected they are sickenly expensive. As in, we'll never be able to afford them expensive.
The 2010 BMW X5 M will run you a cool $86,255 while the X6 M will command a slight premium of $89,725 for its oddness.

Even though BMW has upped the all around performance, I still dont view them as true ///M vehicles, and thats not based on them being CUV/SAV/SUVs or whatever BMW refers to them as.

Now, I am a BMW lover and have an M Coupe, but this is a little crazy to me. Soccer moms in an M Class vehicle? I know there are the ladies running around in their Porsche Cayenne's but that is a really different situation to me. It's someone who just wants the Porsche logo. I would be willing to bet they don't even know the hp of the car they are driving. I just see M cars as track vehicles or potential track vehicles and I cannot see doing hot laps in these vehicle. I'm scratching my head on this one...actually I can't even understand the x6 really. Is a flattened X or a fat 5-series??? What does it do uniquely?
