Porsche recently invited journalists to see its new Panamera sedan first hand at its Weissach research facility. No one was able to get behind the wheel, but Porsche did offer rides in the back seat. Our own Director of Testing Dan Edmunds pulled out his camera to get a shaky video of the experience. See for yourself after the jump.

The styling reminds me of the Infiniti G35 (first generation), with a Chrysler Crossfire rear end. That's not to say it's "bad", however. Those are two cars are attractive in their own right.
The video was giving me a headeache. You are a brave man.

This thing and the CTS need to come together and find a stylistic middle ground. Or commit suicide.

The Panamera, like the Cayenne are both oddly attractive. Im not sure why I like their styling. BTW, it has nothing to do with the badge as Ive always prefered things that were outside the box. I like it!

The sound of the engine and the near flawless shifts from the PDK DCT makes this video a sweet sight to watch. A great car, and at half the price of the Rapide, this should be a relative steal. Too bad the timing is bad for American financiers (chuckle).

I'd like it better if it was a station wagon.
This is more of a hatchback then a wagon.

The exterior design is starting to grow on me. Looks nice. A couple months ago i hated it.
