More bad news from a struggling automaker. Inside Line has learned that Mitsubishi Motors of America has closed its west coast design studio in Cypress, CA. All of the roughly 50-60 employees were laid off.
The design studio was responsible for many of Mitsubishi's concepts over the years including the Concept RA shown at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show.
