So you think GM and Ford are the only companies guilty of blatant badge engineering?

This is the new Seat Exeo ST from Volkswagen's Spanish subsidiary. Look familiar?

Here's a hint. -- Ed Hellwig, Lead Senior Editor, Inside Line

Kinda like how the Lexus ES is a Camry? Oh wait, Toyota, never mind, best idea ever, not at all rebadging, if only everyone else did it that way all would be well.

Not sure I understand what you're getting at Stovt... you'd be sorely mistaken if you thought Toyota never badge-engineered, but if you're getting at the fact that EVERY car company does/has done it, then by all means, please continue...

Whoever buys that car over in Europe will be getting a bargain, because it's a seven year old A4, it's been massaged into its final iteration with constant evolution, so you plenty of kit as standard, and a very well made car.

Or you could buy the new base A4, or get a slightly better equipped Exeo. Nice to have choice I guess.

This new Seat is based on the old A4 (B7) and not the 2009 A4 (B8) as Mr. Ed Hellwig is suggesting. Its a shame that the lead senior editor of inside line is making such amateurish mistakes...
