Believe it or not, the great satellite radio merger that spelled death for Fred, Lucy and Ethel might be doomed. If you hop over to our own Auto Observer, you'll see that Sirius XM is already making preparations for a possible bankruptcy filing, based on a report from The New York Times.
Surprising? Well, no. Neither Sirius nor XM ever turned a profit as separate entities, and together they have $3.25 billion in debt. And come the end of February, a bill for $175 million will come due.

If they would begin work on sat TV, I think they'd get a huge influx of subscribers. I know that's what I've been waiting for.

Im sure the CEOs of the Sirius XM still recieve their large bonuses. To this day I think that if the company is spiraling out of control and reporting huge losses the CEOs and management as a whole shouldnt get ANY bonuses as its obvious they arent doing their job.

C'mon, you've got to be kidding me. You're waiting for sat tv? Haven't you heard of Dish or DirecTV yet? What a laugh.
BTW - since this article was written the owners of DirecTV have made a substantial investment in Sirius/XM. I couldn't be happier as I'm a DTV subscriber and the S/XM service has a limited presence there. Kill 2 birds with one stone and get DTV, you won't be sorry.
Note to the editor - From what I've experienced Sirius/XM is a far cry from terrestrial radio. The blues channel is not only awesome but I've never heard a better blues offering anywhere. Hell, you can barely find blues offered anywhere for more than an hour at a time and I know as I've lived in a major metro area for 25 years. Pretty much the same goes for their "new age" channel.
I suggest you take your own advice and "get out more", get out of your shell and find out what good radio is really about.
