2010 Porsche Panamera: Interior Photos Revealed

panameraint2long.jpg

The 2010 Porsche Panamera is scheduled to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April. Porsche released exterior shots in November 2008. Today the company is showing us what the interior will look like. Suffice to say for now that it's more spacious and luxurious than your typical 911.

I know I'm the only one that likes this car, so I'll just say 'nice interior!'

there is an awful lot going on with that centre stack.

Other than sales to rappers and athletes I really don't see this Porsche having any success. Its got the profile of a station wagon. Who wants to spend over $100K to drive something that looks like what your dad drove back in the 70s? They dropped the ball on this car.

wow, that's a lot of buttons on that center stack. would be interesting to see how long it would take to get used to it.

I really think they did a great job of creating a 4 door family sedan that looks like it's part of the Porsche family.

Way better then the Cayenne.

I can't think of a reason why I would ever buy one but I understand why they would build it.

Sorry but it's one heck of a big stretch to try and see any common lines between this and a 70's wagon.

Oh and my Dad's wagon in the 70's was a 69 Fury with a 440. I would love to have that car now.

My pick for interiors at this price point:

Maserati
Audi
Benz
BMW
Porsche

This will be a tough sell.

It's nice, but this looks like a $50-$60k car, not a $100k+ car. The design just doesn't support that price point.

Firstwagon, I don't think its too much of a stretch. When I see the Panamera profile, I instantly think of a station wagon. Its funny b/c every single car maker is doing what they can to avoid labeling their car a station wagon. Higher ride heights, calling them "cross-overs", etc. Yet, Porsche in designing this vehicle forget to notice that it has the profile of a station wagon. I still can't believe they missed this basic glaring flaw. I say flaw b/c Porsche and station wagon should never be uttered in the same sentence.

i seriously think porsche cant make a nice looking vehicle with more than 2 doors. and porsche's interior was never a looker..

Even though there seem to be a lot of buttons on the console to control all the functions the car will have, I'd rather have the buttons so I could have direct access to what I wanted to do instead of having to go through a few iDrive menus while driving.

Its not bad but it isnt all that either. I do however like the navy and butter-cream color combination. In terms of design was expecting something a bit more exciting especially given the cars sticker.
