Looks like Lamborghini has been taking notes at the Ford School of Model Proliferation as every auto show seems to usher in a "new" Gallarado or Murcielago. Trouble is, every time we go to see it, there's nothing but the same old Gallardo or Murcielago sitting there with a new paint job and a handful of extra horsepower.
If the rumors on Dutch site Autoblog.nl are true, we're in for another massaged Murcielago at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. It will be called the Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 and it will use the same V12 engine as the ultra-exclusive, never-to-be-seen again Reventon version of the Murcielago. Only 20 examples of that car were built, but Lamborghini will reportedly crank out 50 examples of the LP650-4. In exchange for the reduction in exclusivity, the LP650-4 will cost just $375,000. Hopefully that doesn't include this horrid paintjob. We'll see in a couple weeks.
