2009 Geneva Auto Show: Aston Martin V12 Vantage

It was teased last year with the V12 Vantage RS concept, but it was pretty clear even then that a production vehicle was all but certain. Aston has now released official stats and info on its new twelve-cylinder coupe and they are indeed impressive.

How does 510 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque sound? Even better news is the fact that it will come with a six-speed manual gearbox. Aston says the V12 Vantage will have a top speed of 190 mph and will do 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds.

so how is this different than a db9 or dbs? Astons are beautiful cars but they all look the same. Lame.

Ah, so it's not just me. It looks good and would probably great to drive, but I can't tell most recent Aston Martins apart either.

Needs a new wheel design as this style make the Aston look a bit cheap.

can someone tell me the difference between this and the DBS? Other than that the DBS is mostly carbon fiber; this car uses the same engine, has no backseat, and runs almost the exact same 0-60 sprint... enlighten me please
