I was in Fort Wayne, IN and sighted one of these on the road. Really, really strange.
Apparently it is road legal in IN and licensed as a motorcycle.
There is a dealer of these in Downers Grove, IL too.

$10,000, a dismal (for it's size) 42MPG and licensed as a motorcycle to avoid Crash Safety Standards? No Thank you, I'll spend a little more and head over to my local Hondaiyota dealer for a slightly breathed on (CPO) Fit, Accent or Yaris. Granted, those cars don't have the big box or 1/4 ton capability, but if I need that, I could probably find a used 4-Cylinder Ranger or S-10 for much less and get acceptable mileage...
