Spy Photos: Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Testing Down Under

Well, we don't know if this car will ever see showrooms given GM's current cash crunch, but it appears as though development work is still moving along on the Chevrolet Camaro convertible. These shots were posted on the Australian website www.drive.com.au, hence the rather odd bumper stickers indicating its status as a left hooker. Looks like GM did a decent job on the soft top, no?

I hope they offer a chrome package as a option so you don't have to go aftermarket. I think the Camaro would be awesome with a chrome grill.

I generally don't care for ragtops on cars not designed as such, I find they look ungainly. On this though, from the pictures anyways, it looks surprisingly good.

We'll see what it's like when we see them, if ever, in person.
