I think these are great ads, and with GM, Chrysler, and Ford not advertising this year during the game, these are sure to be noticed. First 2 are the most exciting and fun overall. Good job Hyundai!!

It's about time to make those over priced European car companies worry. where you pay for every option on your car when buying. They have the great designs in terms of there looks. But break down like a cheap car leaving you stranded or constant visits to the dealer for repairs. Even the cheap companies that people called cheap like Hyundai. Are no longer cheap. Take notice to those over priced car companies and get your butts in gear and build great cars again.

"It's Hyundai, like Sunday" is a great line for a superbowl ad. "Maybe commitment isn't so scary afterall" and "we'll put it in writing for you" are also great lines that set the right tone in this economy and really puts Hyundai in a kinder light compared to other companies.
These are excellent commercials and the coupe on the track w/ "FOL" playing was awesome.
Lots of people are going to remember the Hyundai Genesis ad from last year's Superbowl. I think it's very smart how Hyundai is setting these up. It'll get into their heads that Hyundai made those bold claims last year but now they've won the COTY award. Maybe this company is actually being honest.

Being the current owner of my fifth Hyundai since 1985, I can honestly say that each one has performed flawlessly. I will also admit I have run the living hell out of each one of them but maintained them by the book. Consider the fact that the early Hyundais that were considered cheap and unreliable were comprised of Mitsubishi components. My current '07 Hyundai Accent SE at 43,000 miles has not needed anything but oil changes and a set of tires since it was delivered with 3 miles.

I've liked Hyundai cars for many years. Though I did have some issues with Hyundai in regards to a warranty claim on my '96 Elantra. I bought it at 2 years old with a little over 7k on it. The flywheel was warped. I took it to the dealer to have it fixed, and I was told it had a warped flywheel and it wasn't covered because it was driver abuse. They had it in the shop for about 4 hours total. I asked how the clutch plates were and was told they were fine. They wanted to charge me over $200 to turn down the flywheel. I called Hyundai about it. To make a long story short, I fought with Hyundai until my 60k mile warranty was up and got absolutely nowhere. The service manager at a different dealer laughed when I told him my dealer had it in the shop for 4 hours to diagnose the shutter in the clutch. He said you have to drop the tranny to check the flywheel and it's 4 hours out and 4 hours back in. "They did an 8 hour job in 4 hours? WOW!" Hyundai said they'd send out a rep to check my car. 3 months went by and I heard nothing. When I called them back, they said the rep talked with my service manager and ruled it as driver's abuse and my file was closed. He NEVER even saw my car let alone drive it. Imagine ... the flywheel is warped at 7k miles, but the clutch plates are fine. I drove it for over 3 years and 63k + miles like that and it never got any worse. I'd consider another Hyundai, but I'd have to cross my fingers that nothing major needs fixed under warranty ... it'll end up being "driver abuse" and not covered. I thought only Chrysler did things like that! So, the 100k mile warranty doesn't impress me after that experience.

I've had two Hyundai Elantras over the years (a 2000 and 2002) and they were both great cars. They never gave me an ounce of trouble and had no squeaks or rattles. Lately I've rented some of the new Accents and Elantras and they are impressive to drive (for economy cars).
My parents and best friend also own Hyundais and have had no issues (my parents were loyal GM buyers until they got their Santa Fe and probably will never return)
I am a lifelong Hyundai fan and I'm glad that people are realising that they really do sell good products

"it's Hyundai, like Sunday"
No one caught that, huh? The first Excel ads said "rhymes with Sunday", so this is even maybe a bit cockier that some folks may realize.

I get lexus being worried, but BMW? I don't think they really care, the genesis isn't a sports car. Seriously, in Edmund's own comparo, it's V8 is about as sporty as the V6 in the Lexus GS (the Lexus beat the Genesis' 0-60 if I remember right).
Great luxury car, but is the the sports car they're making it out to be? Nope. By the way, I haven't seen a SINGLE one of those on the road this entire year, I'm wondering who's buying them? I really want to see one in person!

to 1speedbike.. I think you are getting confused. There are 2 Genesis, the luxury one that I don't think Hyundai is marketing it as a sports car and there is the Genesis Coupe which is a V6 replacement of the Tiburon that IS the sporty version.
