Seems like the Hyundai Genesis coupe has been kicking around for awhile, but we've only now filed our first driving impression from Korea. All indications point to a very well balanced car that's both powerful and refined. The only question now is how Hyundai will try to push it in the States. A Mustang fighter? Poor man's G37? Both?

Id go with the "poor mans G37", as the Mustang has never really focused on precise handling. Im really starting to like the Genesis sedan and coupe.

Did they steal those tail lights from a Mazda RX8? Looks like coupes are going to see a comeback.

I'm still not in love with the front end styling. Glad to hear it handles well, though.
I'm guessing pricewise, it'll compete with the Mustang, but with G37 quality and dynamics.

I like everything I hear about this car except the exterior styling.

It's also interesting that the U.S. will get Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires whereas the Korean market cars will get Hankooks. Or has something changed, Ed?

I am looking forward a test drive of the turbo! This vs. a V6 Camaro - bring it!

This is what the Nissan 370Z should have looked like, Hyundai did a great job in the styling department.
Looking forward to a comparison with the RX-8, 370Z soon.

Nice car. Good for Hyundai. Now they need to make a legit 3 series contender and I'll gladly take a look.

Love the back half of this car, gorgeous. The front however, looks like it was designed by Hyundai. I'm interested to hear more about how it drives in comparison tests. Also I'm disappointed that the turbo 4 is so huge. I was hoping for an economical yet entertaining 2ish liter turbo like VW/Audi has.
