The Fiat 500 is one of those adorable Europe-only cars coveted by a small niche of weirdo American car enthusiasts. Is it any good to drive? Eh, who knows? We suspect it probably doesn't matter as long as it's better than driving a Smart.
Now there will be a cabrio version, apparently, as Autocar has published a bunch of spy shots of the Fiat 500 cabrio. We don't care for the fixed roof members, even if they do increase rigidity while decreasing production costs. Mini Cooper convertible for us, please.

I thought I would hate it, but I actually don't mind it. Of course, the MINI is superior though!

From the reviews I've read, it's close to the Mini depending on the model.
I wish we would get it here, we need more cool small cars.

Personally, I like the fixed roof members - both for safety and weight reduction. However, I am not a fan of convertibles. Give me a good looking hardtop any day.

I'd gladly be called a weirdo to drive a 500 Abarth ESSEESSE.

I saw some on the road. I love it. I want one. My g/f wants one even more! You have to check out the interior design. Outstanding.

"Adorable or Awkward?"
As my good friend Shel (who dates my dorky good friend Mike) would say, "What's the difference?"
