Autoblog is reporting today that the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 is rumored to debut at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show. We subsequently spoke with Mazda's director of corporate and product communications, Jeremy Barnes, who said, "I cannot confirm that."
However, given that the 2007 Mazdaspeed 3/MPS debuted at the 2006 Geneva show, we'd say it's very, very likely that we'll see the second-gen hot hatch in the Mazda booth come early March.

Is anyone going to buy it if it has the stupid grin on the front?
They may sell a few of the regular ones to people that don't notice, care or even think it is cute but will anyone that is into performance want their car grinning from ear to ear?
I waited and waited for Mazda to come out with the new 3 and now I have to look elsewhere.....

Its a shame, because I really want to consider a MS3 for my next car. Maybe in the next 4ish years they will have a new/updated model? Here's hoping.

that is my hope, that they will realize the design mistake and update the front in a year or two as a mid-model freshening.
