Volvo makes trucks and has no relations to Volvo Cars.
Volvo Cars is a Ford company that makes cars.
This is the same confusion Americans bestow upon the Mitsubishi and Hyundai names...

Well, what can I say, Bill? You are absolutely right and I got careless here conflating Volvo Cars with job cuts at Volvo Trucks. The inaccurate information has been deleted, but please don't take that to mean that I don't realize the mistake.

As usual, the concept looks way sleeker than the actual product.
Still, the actual product doesn't look bad...except for those fake exhaust ports.
