Another of the more striking cars revealed at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show was the Volvo S60 concept, which is destined for production as the second-generation Volvo S60 sedan midway through the 2010 calendar year. We've put together a gallery of all the best images Volvo has released.

Volvo Cars has no relations with the Volvo company.

Volvo makes trucks and has no relations to Volvo Cars.

Volvo Cars is a Ford company that makes cars.

This is the same confusion Americans bestow upon the Mitsubishi and Hyundai names...

Well, what can I say, Bill? You are absolutely right and I got careless here conflating Volvo Cars with job cuts at Volvo Trucks. The inaccurate information has been deleted, but please don't take that to mean that I don't realize the mistake.

I love the curvy shapes, but I'm afraid of the weight increases with this new design aesthetic.

As usual, the concept looks way sleeker than the actual product.

Still, the actual product doesn't look bad...except for those fake exhaust ports.
