2009 Detroit Auto Show Preview: 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Official images have been leaked of the 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The car is all new, and reflects some of the styling cues seen on recent Benz models; that being a somewhat tortured and overdone skin, with a few too many wrinkles and creases. The car will debut at the NAIAS in January.

I like the overall look, but not enough to buy one. Its very evolutionary.

Still, it manages to look sharp from most angles.

Not a fan of the rear haunches or ridin' high tail. Check out that swoosh right around the rear door cutline. That's a bit much.

The front, though evolutionary, looks about right. I'm curious to see the inside...
