Well, the weight loss is marginal, but any weight loss is a good thing. The hp bump should help.

definitely a great car but it seems they achieved "good enough" and stopped. with the GTR, they far surpassed "good enough" and defied the laws of physics...

Comments from the test stating the pedals and shifter vibrate like crazy, engine vibrates a lot as revs rise, massive blind spots all add up to the feel that once the buzz (pun intended) of the new car fades the reality that it was built down to a price will emerge.

I really like the new interior, which was something that I couldn't get past on the old car. The rev-matching thing seems pretty cool, too. Overall, I think it's a huge improvement. I like the shorter look with the massive rear arches, and the new lights don't bother me as much as I thought they were going to. Can't wait to see one in person!

Looks like a well finished car, I'll be interested to have a look in person. The previous 350Z was a nightmare for anyone tall to sit in, and the interior was severely lacking.

In person - OMG, the car is amazing. The proportions are so much more vivid. Think Porsche Cayenne/Audi TT curves. It's actually close to what the Porsche 911 used to look like, oddly enough, before it got all aero-blobby. Definitely a very striking car, and the crowd at the auto show reacted very positively.

And that's more vivid than before & in pictures.

To be fair it was built to a price. You're buying bang-for-the-buck here.
If you want a little more refinement there's the G37 coupe.

So when is the 370Z vs. 128/135i comparison test?!

So a couple of us have this spreadsheet with the specs of a bunch of random cars, sorted by power/weight ratio; and the 370Z slots just below the C5 Z06!
