Honda introduces an all-new Life minicar for the Japanese market. The new Life is the first minicar in Japan to include an audio system with a backup camera as standard equipment. As you can see by the link, there are several faces one can choose.
With the Smart already on sale, and Toyota considering selling their iQ, do you think Honda should consider selling something like this here?

Honda and Toyota should both be selling these small cars here. Its a market that is wide open - hell, look at the Smart! Its a useless, terrible car but its selling in heaps. If Toyota, Honda or anyone else could sell a decent, tiny car here they would be doing quite well.

600cc's! I'm not saying they couldn't slot something below the Fit. But that's just not enough. Americans demand to drive on the freeway. So if they could give this a 1 liter, maybe...

Gotta love the “daily smile technology”.
Seven times better than "weekly smile technology”.
LOL
Should they bring it here? I'm not sure if they could offer it for significantly less than the Fit, plus it might cannibalize more profitable Fit sales.

I think this would cannibalize CR-V and Element sales. If Honda wants a piece of the Smart action, they should just make a cute Fit coupe. Besides, isn't the CR-Z coming out someday?

It's not a threat to the CRV or Element as it's half the size and should be half the price.
I don't think Honda would worry about it selling Fit sales as they now sell all they can make.
Really it's a clever city car and would make a great second car for a lot of people. (or only car for those spend all their time downtown.)

I want to know what the fuel economy would be. That's one of the biggest reasons the Smart is such a waste. All those compromises for barely any fuel economy.
