You already know that the Lambo Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder has a 560-hp V10 and all-wheel drive. But what you didn't know is that this car has matte paint. And it's not a showcar -- this paint finish will be available in production.
I've been waiting for a manufacturer to production-ize matte-finish paint since Dave Coleman spray painted his Silvia flat black. -- Jason Kavanagh, Engineering Editor

Bike mfgs have offered matte paint for years now, with Ducati leading the way with their Dark series.
My 09 Harley Street Bob is painted in a wikkid matte (they call it denim) colour called "Red Hot Denim". It's red...(and hot!)
Back to cars, is the Gallardo LP560 their top performance model? Over the Murcielago? (do they still make that one?)

Sweet! Of course Lamborghini is certainly the right company to begin production with flat paints. They (re?)introduced flat paint a couple years ago on a very sexy Murcielago. I believe they called the color Nero Nemesis.
I've been debating going flat black myself. Looks good on the S.

No, I didn't know the LP560 had a V12, interesting ;)

That's what I get for staring at the Murcielago engine display on their booth. Fixed!

I don't get matte white, though.
