Subaru STI Takumi concept hints at upcoming spec.C

The only thing that I can see that's different from the conventional STI is the blacked-out rear wing, small front lip, and the 12-spoke wheels, but it is believed that this STI Takumi concept, under the skin is pure spec.C. That means tweaking on all performance fronts: engine, suspension, etc.

This car was on display at Motorsport Japan 2008. The production spec.C is expected to debut sometime this winter, and will likely have a few more cosmetic changes including a roof scoop and gold wheels. For those not familar with the spec.C, this is the hardcore track-oriented version of the STI. Previous versions were never sold here in the USA.

Offering this in the US would address those that have said the EVO is a better track-only car, even if the STI is better all around.
