You've heard it before. The vehicles we drive are a reflection of who we are, and what we stand for for. In short: we are what we drive.
Newsweek, in keeping with the political climate, has ascribed various vehicles to the presidential candidates. They are:
McCain = Old F-150
Obama = Prius
No call on the veep vehicular choices, but the obvious selection for Palin is a (Plymouth) Barracuda. Biden? Not sure. Maybe a new pick-em-up, like a Ram perhaps (since Chrysler has a large presence in DE)?

Palin is the one that needs a pickup - with a gun rack, naturally. The bed would hold the moose she just hunted down.
Biden? That's a tough one. Politicians keep buying Escape hybrids, but why get an SUV if you want fuel efficiency? How about a Chevy Malibu hybrid for the Veep nominee?

I saw a piece on he news when Biden was getting quizzed about being considered for VP. He was backing out of his driveway, it was a close up and I could only see mostly his door. I remember thinking it looked like a crew cab GM pickup to me.

McCain continues to use an old reliable American product.
Obama dumps his American/German vehicle and buys a Japanese product in order to "appear" green.
You read between the lines.
I'm not trying to choose sides (in these forums anyway), but this whole concept of looking at the candidates cars is short sighted and silly.

McCain drives a Caddy CTS and like Bob said, Obama drives an Escape Hybrid after he got rid of his old 300C.
Last time I checked, The Escape is built by Ford, an American Company and the 300C is built by whats left of Diamler-Benz. An old Eclass platform but a Chrysler product non the less.
