Yeah, they were silly mobile chariactures. These International CXT, MXT and RXT pickups even made Hummers look respectable, and were so far out of the mainstream you wonder how how on earth they were ever green-lighted for production in the first place. After all, Navistar, if anything, is known for making supremely sensible work trucks, and not for building flaky Rambo-mobiles.
Even so, I found these trucks to be a delightful respite from reality. Plus they were built in such small numbers that the planet earth didn't suffer one iota. So I'm sorry to report that International has once again come to their senses, and have discontinued them.
