Endless Dodge RamBox marketing possibilities

Mike Levine of PickupTruck.com and the the folks at Autoblog had some fun recently at a Dodge Ram press event, with Mike trying to stuff himself into a Dodge Ram's RamBox. The oh-so-skinny Mr. Levine was probably just a-bit-too-tall to pull this off, but let's give Mike an "A" for effort. Hmmm...
. wonder if Dodge might offer an extra-long RamBox on models with an 8' bed? If so, Mike surely could fit!

Now I can see this turning into challenge (not unlike VW Beetle peeps stuffing, or the current 'Ring-Thing)—and maybe even a clever marketing ploy for Dodge.

Picture the following scenario as a commercial:

A new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, with a horse trailer attached, pulls onto the grounds of Churchill Downs, home of the fabled Kentucky Derby. Eventually it stops in front of one of the horse stables and the driver gets out and proceeds to unload a horse from the trailer. The camera then pans back over to the Dodge, running the length of the vehicle from front to rear, and stops at the rear fender. It then zooms in on the Ram Box which pops open and out stumbles a tiny jockey who looks like Hemi-Man Jon Reep. He yawns, rubs his eyes, brushes himself off and immediately proclaims: " Yep, that thing sure does have a Hemi!"

Yeah... that could work!

Anyone else with a RamBox stuffing idea? I'm sure Dodge would love to hear about it.

...Oh, one more thing: yes, the RamBox does have a trunk-like emergency inside release for anyone silly enough to try and stuff themselves inside.

I wonder if the Rambox is water tight like the Ridgeline.

That's hilarious. You could easily fit someone shorter, maybe up to 5' or so. LOL

They could try stuffing the Rambox with "interior quality", but somehow I don't think that'd make much of a difference for Chrysler's product reputation...

I wouldn't see a point for the Rambox to have interior upholstery. The box is probably marketed as a place for people to store tools, your work boots, camping equipment etc.
