). Well Bertone is not alone here, as the entire world of automotive coachbuilding is up in the air. AutoObserver has an excellent editorial outlining the history of this niche industry, and what has happened over the years to this industryâand it's not good.

There are still many profitable coachbuilders in America. You've got Callaway, Coddington, Fisker, Foose, Saleen, Shelby, Superformance and any limo manufacturer just to name a few. You could even include the likes of Tesla.
