"No More Gas" electric vehicle

Love the name! "No More Gas!" What a great marketing idea! The name alone should sell tons of these little buggers!

The "vehicle"—a motorcycle, as it has only three wheels, and therefore not a car—is tiny, and is suitable for only one person. It has a range of 25 – 30 miles, which should be enough for most commutes...

This looks a lot like that duck car that debuted many moons ago.

This thing currently costs $36,000(!), which means it will make no fiscal sense for the vast majority of commuters. Cute idea, though.

Agree ewilfong. It'll be all the rage among the elite trying to 'set the example'. Too bad most of them don't realize that the average guy can't afford to make that move. Give free write-offs on the debt for whatever vehicle the normal middle class American is normally in debt on, and make the price <$10k, and then it might be worthwhile. Otherwise, putting someone more in debt to save gas just shuffles their income from one toilet to another.

These first were made from '99 to '02 as Corbin Sparrows. Corbin filed bankruptcy and the company assets floated around a while. Myers Motors now makes them.

I've seen one on the Fremont-San Jose morning commute, a white one. It's basically an egg on wheels in the carpool lane, not going very fast but neither is traffic. It's always fun making a sighting of that sort.

Sparrow! That's the car I was thinking of.

Yeah, I was kinda interested, though my commute is a shade too long, till I got to the price. Yikes!

Hi flicmod! Yeah, been away for a bit, trying to 'have a life' and stuff...

Yeah, I hear ya. It's a shame that virtual reality has to interfere with REAL reality... stupid internet.

Good to see ya back around the boards!

They had one of those at the Earth Day event here in Montgomery County, MD. It was even that same color!

My kids loved it.

$36 grand might make sense if gas cost $20 per gallon.
