Maybach Landaulet to go for $1.35 Million

Desperate times call for desperate measures...

Or so the saying goes; Maybach, an automaker arguably on the ropes, is pulling out all the stops as they've given a production okay for the Landaulet. A concept study was recently shown at the Detroit auto show.

So will this save the brand?..
...And can we expect a counter-punch from Rolls-Royce? Surely the Queen of England won't want to be upstaged by this wannabe poseur, and will request a Landaulet version of the Rolls-Royce Phantom EWB, no?

Wow, what a jump in price! I'd be shocked if they sold 10.

wow
a little expensive for a missing roof section and white leather
though it is pretty exclusive, it is not worth that much

Waste. Get a Phantom instead.

I think Maybach just "jumped the shark", or rather in automotive terms, dropped a Phaeton. This car was dead even before arrival. Anybody in the market for a CPO Maybach 57? I bet you prices will be pretty good....=)
