What you see here is the Mitsubishi Prototype S, with the "S" standing for "Sportback." If you remember, Mitsubishi showed a Sportback concept (middle picture) before.
Remember? How could you forget, as that concept was drop-dead gorgeous!
Unfortunately, as concepts move from "concept" to "production," often something gets lost in the translation, as is the case here...
As to running gear, it's equipped with the same 236 hp 2.0L turbo, and AWD that's to be found in their upcoming WRX-fighter, the Ralliart sedan.

Actually, I think the production model looks as good as the concept.
It reminds me of the Brera.

I think from the angles shown, the concept looks much better. The concept looks like and Alfa Romeo while the actual one looks more like a Lexus RX or a new Subaru Impreza

The concept looks better but isn't that always the case.
Still looks better then the Impreza.

What a HUGE disappointment!
The concept was beautiful, I was a big fan.
How did they end up with such a generic 5 door?
It's not ugly, don't get me wrong, but the concept was so promising. A real let down! :(

HA! maybe they should call it the IMPREZA EVOLUTION,or the LANCER STI. either way im dissapointed. You would think mitsu learned about subaru's mistake on design.
