If the overwhelming reception to the Mitsubishi Raider is any indication, we expect big things from the Nissan Frontier-based Suzuki Equator, but not really. It goes on sale at the end of this year at which point you could buy one. Ack! One more ugly oversized and overchromed grille to look at!

Whatever happened to sloping hoods and the grilleless look?

So they rebadged an aging pickup design? Whoopee.

I doubt many people think Suzuki when they hear "pickup." I'm surprised they didn't use a rebadged version of the Colorado/Canyon/i-series. Either way this vehicle is not needed. Suzuki would have been better off rebadging an Altima.

Great one!! Suzuki is going to launch many models in Chicago!! By the way, have you heard of MiNeeds.com? It really simplifies finding affordable auto repair professionals. I used it to find them for my vehicles. Essentially, after I described what I needed on this site, I received several competitive bids from local auto repair professionals. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to call around and negotiate with each, and that they actually came to me.
