Bentley Motors has launched a job recruiting web site (here
) in hopes of attracting more global job candidates. The site launched on January 2 and includes listings in engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing, quality, logistics, finance and information systems areas. As of Tuesday, there were more than 40 job openings posted on the site. In addition to full-time positions, the site includes listings for Bentley's graduate, undergraduate and apprenticeship programs...
Once users have accessed the site, they are taken through the application process step by step and can review or change their applications at any time. In addition to browsing job openings, candidates can schedule interviews and assessments through the new system.
So, if you take a shower get a haircut and shave, wear some clean clothes, and have dreamed of being on the Bentley team, this may be your chance.
Here's Inside Line's take: Bentley Hopes To Attract Global Job Candidates With Online Recruiting

"Will build coaches for food"
I guess they'll pay for airfare and help you get set up once you arrive.

I'm not sure how the above picture in any way at all relates to the fact that Bentley is hiring. In fact it seems pretty inconsiderate for you to be posting a picture of a homeless guy in an article about Bentleys.

I suppose that one way to view it. Others might find some irony in juxtaposing that kind of image against a symbol of the uber-rich.

Wow Daytona, do you have absolutely no sense of humor what so ever? I thought it was funny and certainly isn't disrespectful to Bentley, I'm sure they could care less.

Is a Bentley company car included? :)

mikemir87,
I never said its disrespectful to Bentley, rather the opposite. It's disrespectful to blog about a high dollar company like Bentley hiring, and to then throw a picture of a homeless guy saying "Will work for food." Couldn't a picture of a Bentley Continental sufficed??
rsholland, the irony isnt lost on me. I'm just saying its cruel irony.

The guy isn't in the picture, you can't tell who it is. His privacy was respected.
I think people are a little too sensitive nowadays.

If you mean his face was hidden from the camera, then yes his privacy was respected. However, you dont need to be very intelligent to figure out that only certain unfortunate people carry around "Will work for food" signs.
I'm not being overly sensitive in this issue. If the article was about, say a homeless guy buying a car, then the picture is appropriate. If the article talks about Bentley hiring, then it's really tacky and offensive to put a picture of someone else who lives on the other side of the spectrum.

Good grief? I think what you mean is "I'm sorry?"
rsholland says:

No I don't. The only thing I'm sorry about is that you can't appreciate it for what is is, but I'm not apologizing for this blog. What I think is that you're making a mountain out of mole hill; and that, as one poster stated, your sense of humor is about zero. End of story.

rsholland,
Please, I really don't need to be told anything about my sense of humor. I can assure you all that I have quite a good sense of humor when a joke is not completely tasteless. There is absolutely nothing to appreciate in this case. The fact that you can't bring yourself to apologize for this blog entry clearly shows that either you don't understand my point, or you somehow think in some sick way that poking fun of those people less fortunate than us is in some way humorous. Think about the whole thing for a second - you post an entry about a high dollar company like Bentley hiring, and you then proceed to post a picture of a homeless fellow willing to do anything to have something in his stomach by the end of the day. And then you talk about shaving, taking a shower and wearing clean clothes, all of which are not possible for a homeless guy. Any way it's pretty disrespectful.
And that is the end of the story, as far as I'm concerned.
