Okay, it's now day one of the new year. What would be your new dream car resolution for the coming year? By that I mean if you could build your own car, what would it contain? Parts from other cars that you like?..
The Detroit News ran a story (here) on just that topic, but using parts from 2007 models. Do you agree with them, or do you think that you can do better?

Since my next car will be a luxury car, I'd say the Genesis in concept form. That means those funky headlights and fog lights. I would like a widebody version of the car (Aston-wide). I'd want BMW-styled double-spoke rims. And I'd like it wrapped up in a black matte finish.
On the inside, I want black alcantara seats with brown stitching, frost blue guages, black interior with real brushed aluminum accents, and soft touch leather.
Under the hood, I want a supercharged V8 producing 380hp (400 is so ostentatious) linked with a dual-clutch tranny.
Yeah, that sounds right. Build it Hyundai!

I want a car with ....
* a German suspension (balance ride/handling)
* a Japanese engine (reliable, efficient)
* a Korean warranty (10/100)
* an American rebate ($5000 cash back)
* Swedish safety features (Volvo)
* British character
* Italian styling
Yeah, that sounds pretty good to me.

Modernized Honda NSX Type R, with the BMW 507hp 5.0 V10, and a heavier duty version of VWs awesome 7 speed DSG system.
