It may be new-and-improved, but it still has that old-and-lousy rear quarter window—which is impossible to see out of; clearly a classic case of styling trumping function. :(

Loves it, although I'm surprised Nissan kept it's slightly higher than class-norm pricing.

"Nissan kept it's slightly higher than class-norm pricing."

The Murano is a semi-luxury car, like Buick.
Standard equipment on the Murano includes:
leather steering wheel,
leather shift knob,
dual zone auto climate control,
one-touch up&down driver and passenger windows,
LCD info screen,
powered mirrors,
18" alloys.

Essentially it's a luxury car with cloth seats and door insets, like Buick.
I like having those things standard. It makes shopping for one off the lot easier.

"unremarkable fuel economy could be a deal-breaker in this segment."

AWD/4WD Market check:

Ford Edge 15/22
Dodge Nitro 15/21
Mazda CX-9 15/21

Leader in the last 5 years, leader again in the next 5 years.
The CVT is all that, if the engine drone is not an issue for you.
