1929 Ruxton Alligator to be auctioned off at Barrett-Jackson



This exquisite and tiny Ruxton 'Alligator' will auctioned off at the Scottsdale's 37th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event on January 19. This is a one-off prototype, and has those funky cat-eye Woodlite headlights that have been seen on other Ruxton cars, as well as Cords, Packards and other premium American car brands of that era. Besides that it was FWD, and had a supercharged 4.4L side-valve straight-eight engine putting out 100 horsepower.
