We used to use GPS on our vehicles, but the cost of the system was just too high. Now we drive our 200+ mile routes without them. We're SoL if we hit black ice now because nobody will know where we are.
We use "black boxes" now, just like on airplanes. So while they can't track us, afterward they can determine if we were speeding or not wearing our seatbelts.
