Escaped pet lion chases cars in Ohio

Well, this is not something you read very often in Ohio newspapers. Apparently Lambert, a pet lion belonging to a Terry Brumfield, somehow got loose from his cage and started chasing cars on a major highway near Columbus, Ohio.

"It stands and like attacks someone's car. It's trying to attack the cars?..
It like came at my car. It's going back across the street now," a driver said. Another driver stated: "He just ran after them like a dog chasing cars, he'd run 10 to 15 feet and come back."

Fortunately for all involved, the Ohio Highway Patrol was able to coax the big cat back into his cage. Actually, Brumfield has two pet lions. Besides Lambert he has another named Lacy. He says raises these animals as an escape from depression, of which this episode probably didn't help his illness one bit.

I dunno, unleashing lions upon the unsuspecting public would certainly cheer me up.

I wonder how Lions react to the 'sit' command. Are they anything like dogs in that manner?

Well, you see how they're trained and react in circus acts. I guess you can train them.
