This past Saturday Edmunds' Inside Line and Nissan teamed up to throw a GT-R party. If you were there you got to hear and touch the year's most anticipated car. If you missed it, well, you'll just have to wait and read all about it on Inside Line. We shot so many photos and so much video you'll get to feel like you were there even if you weren't...
Well almost, Nissan brought out two GT-Rs, one silver and one red, and most of the 175 attendants even got to sit in the silver car and mess with its touch screen. We can't exactly recreate that for you, but it'll be close.
Of course, everyone came to see the new GT-R, but it wasn't even the only attraction. We told the Nissan crazies of Los Angeles to bring out their cars and they did. Silvias, 510s, Zs and Skylines all packed the place. In fact, more than a dozen Skylines showed up, ranging from a 1972 GT-R to wicked R34s. Nissan even paid for the pizza and handed out free GT-R t-shirts.
Here are a few pics and a You Tube video of the party to whet your appetite. There's also plenty of photos on the North American GT-R Owners Club site (www.nagtroc.com). Just remember the big payoff will be on Inside Line in a week or two. -- Scott Oldham, Inside Line Editor in Chief

Any chance of getting a wallpaper-sized version of that GT-R rear end?
Also, is that a white R33 in the back? I'm so jealous.

Damn, I would really have loved to have been there. And to have scored a free t-shirt.
I guess this explains why you guys needed all that photo equipment in the long term Tundra!
Btw, it's paid, not payed, and whet, not wet.

I am genuinely curious: Is anyone making/have predictions as to how back ordered this vehicle will be once it actually gets here?
Could Nissan actually sell their whole yearly GT-R USA allotment in a couple of months or so?
