It's been some time since Mitsubishi reported a profit, but that's no longer the case, thanks to President Osamu Masuko who was responsible for laying out their plan for recovery. AutoObserver
had the opportunity to interview him directly recently, and he had some interesting things to say about where the company has been and where it's headed. While Mitsubishi has no hybrid plans (they do have clean diesel and electric vehicle plans), Masuko acknowledged that dealing with the environment will be their front-and-center issue for the future.

I think they should be dealing with getting the Galant and Endeavor updated. They have to get their core products in shape before they lok that far forward.
