2007 Tokyo Auto Show Preview: Kurumarukun

Kurumarukun? What the heck's that?

Well fellow drivers and passengers this is a brand new vehicular port-a-pottie. That's right, now no longer do you have to seek out a McDonald's restroom or tree by the side of the road to relieve yourself...
Nope, now you can sit in your car, and with this new "Kurumarukun," just let it rip...

"Kaneko Sangyo Co. said Tuesday it has developed a portable toilet for use inside a car that totally conceals the user with a curtain. The new ''Kurumarukun'' toilet presented the same day at a trade fair in Nagoya is the first ever model of its kind small enough to fit inside a car, the Aichi Prefecture-based manufacturer of plastic car accessories said."

No word, however on how to deal with passengers who might be sitting next to the Kurumarukun user, or what to do with it once the evacuating task is complete. Nor is there any word as to whether it can be reused, or if it is recyclable.

See, I told you that the Tokyo auto show is going to be fun!
