Not sure if this is the long-rumored Tundra HD, even though this certainly appears to be very
HD. What we do know is that it will be on display at SEMA 2007, which is coming up shortly. We also know that it has a supercharged 5.7 engine, with 500 or so horsepower. This supercharger will be a dealer-installed option soon, so says Gary Boler, Business Operations Manager for Toyota's TRD...
So the questions are: Is this just a tease of what Toyota has in mind for future Tundras? Will the also-rumored Xtra-HD Tundra dually be shown at SEMA, and if so, will it be sportin' a diesel under the hood? Finally, is that FJ going to be green-lighted for production?

Wow, that Tundra looks good. They took the clean-looking front bumper off the previous Tundra and slapped it on the new one. The stance looks even better. I'm reminded of the older Tacomas from the 90's, which was a really sweet truck in it's own right.

From what I could squeeze out of my father the HD Tunrda has been developed for some time now along with a competitive diesel.
Im only worried about the quality issues this truck is having as it seems to be on par with the F150 in terms of recalls and quality.
