LA Auto show moves dates. Again.

The LA auto show has moved its date up roughly two weeks to November 16-25. Why, you ask? Apparently the date they wanted was already booked by another group: the Finger of God Good News Ministries’ “Set Up the Standard Crusade,” Ski Dazzle and T. Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind Intensive Seminar...
I kid you not...

At any rate, this is now uncomfortably close to the Tokyo show, and it leaves a big gap between this and the Detroit show in January.

Very funny on the event that is causing the schedule conflict.

Since I don't attend this show I'm not sorry to see it have problems.
More for Detroit and Chicago.

Nov 16-25th? I don't think so. The LA Armadillo Conservation Society is having their annual meeting there during that time. ;-)

How sad is that? If LA wants to become the biggest auto show, maybe they should first try booking their site a few years ahead...

Well...wasn't the point of making it earlier so that the LA show would get more premiers? I doubt a lot of automakers will want to showcase their 2009 or 2010 models that far ahead in 2007

Timing may be too soon for 2009 premieres, though. Maybe they'll get the early birds.
