We used to think the Cayman was a Boxster with a roof. But now, has the Boxster become a Cayman without a top?

My mother-n-law has an older Boxster S and it was one of the reasons I bought an 02 S2000 for my wife (anniversary present). The Boxster is probably one of the most entertaining vehicles you can buy at any price.
Honda, make the next generation S2000 out perform the Boxter S/Cayman S for under $40K.

God I want one of these. But there are no AWD versions, correct?
I live in the Chicago area and don't want an RWD for my main driver, nor do I have the space/money to pick up a 3rd car...
argh.

You dun need AWD in snow, you just need to drive SLOWER.

Very sweet. I still can't believe Porsche charges LESS for the topless version. :D

I love the comment in the article about limited head room. Umm, it's a convertible, the sky's the limit. Ha ha. I know what they mean, limited with the top up. But still, I know it wouldn't be an issue for me. If I buy a convertible, the whole point is to drop the top.

Ateixeira - Dodge did that for years with the Viper. The R/T was cheaper than the GTS.
