It lasted about four seconds. Half the crowd missed it. But Mercedes showed the 2010 E-Class at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
It was easy to miss...
The nose of this heavily disguised prototype poked out from behind the screen, paused for a moment and then disappeared. Even if you saw it you didn't really see anything. After the marathon press conference we talked our way backstage in search of the black machine, but it was long gone, probably off to the Nurburgring or Death Valley for some more testing.
