Inside Line has added a 2007 Mini Cooper S to the long-term test fleet. You can look forward to 12 months of blogging mania.
We opted for the Sport Package, Limited-Slip Differential, the Sport Suspension and Chili Red paint. Final sticker on this feisty little guy including all options was $25,220...

Your car is almost exactly like mine. I love my Cooper S. Fun, fun car. Although I'm always in sport mode and I tend shift high, so how are you guys getting only 26 mpg while I'm getting 30 mpgs?
Are you using the AC? That kills mileage in the car.

Ive always like the "Soopa Coopa" but have never driven one. Maybe I can get my brother to go with me dealer hoping this weekend and I can drive one. Everyone Ive talked to that owns one and all the publications seem to love the car.

I can't say I'd enjoy getting new tires. Ouch.

Estreka, Do some research on that. You can pick up replacement RFTs for the 17 inch range for about $135 a tire at Tire Rack. Or just ditch the RFTs and get real tires for less than $85 each. Shrug.

Cool. I was reading the LT testing and the absurd $300 pricetag for a new tire.

Give a bonus to whichever staff at Edmunds spec'd out that car. That's just how I'd want it.

Bonus goes to our esteemed editor in chief, Scott Oldham who single-handedly spec'd out our car.
