Sounds like you did the 0-60 runs in full auto, with the
"Still, if CVTs are so tuneable, why doesn't it reach redline until after 60 mph?" comment, and yielding 9.2 seconds.
Motortrend did 8.2 seconds in the FWD. AWD should be faster, being able to put down the power, despite being 194 lb heavier.
This car's most appealing aspect is the 8.3" ground clearance. Looks like a good family sedan for flood zones.
But having a small non-reclining rear seat, and no rearseat armrest doesn't help. Better pass on it and buy one of the remaining Muranos.

RE: billt9's comment on the 0-60 time. We did attempt to game the system like we did for the Lancer's CVT
(where this technique worked) wherein we start in (indicated) 1st gear which allows the engine to reach redline sooner than in full auto. Unlike the Lancer, the Rogue posted near identical results no matter what technique was used.
As for MT's quicker time with a FWD Rogue, it's not just a matter of weight, but also added driveline load. There are more spinning bits of metal and parasitic power loss with AWD.

Judging by its target market I think they misspelt it. It is the Nissan Rouge...
p.s. nice to see ANOTHER new 'truck' with really poor rearward visibility.
