Pretty neat. I bet the conversion van industry will work wonders with this thing.

Right now every small delivery van I see is a Safari or Astro. Since GM abandoned one of the best markets they had I've been wondering who would step in. I like the Caravan but I doubt it's up to the job though.

I'm glad that someone still makes a smaller van than the monstrous Express or Econoline, but I am afraid it's a little too small...
I would love to see the Astro, or even the extended Aerostar cargovan make a comeback... ideally sized with decent fuel economy, but not too large and not too small.

Kinda redundant given the Sprinter. Are there optional removable seats?

Redundant? Not really. The Sprinter comes only in 3/4-ton and 1-ton models. There a lot of room below that for a smaller van. Besides, it's rumored that Ford will counter by bringing over their smaller Transit Connect van from Europe.

Yeah, you're probably right. I also didn't realize there's a $9,000 price difference, either.

I still don't believe that van wasn't lucrative. They produced one generation for virtually 20 years!
