Toyota Tundra sales up 146% for June

Toyota sales were up 10 percent over June of last year—but the big winner for Toyota was the Tundra, which was up a whopping 146 percent over last June. Questions remain as to was this huge increase due to incentives, the vehicle, or a combination of both?

Nissan also had a very strong month, as their sales were up 23 percent. Honda, spurred on by CRV and Civic sales was up 11 percent...
Hyundai was also up 11 percent.

Domestic brand sales were either flat or down for the month.

I read about Nissan's whopping jump in sales. I'm wondering if that's due to the Altima.

That's pretty amazing to see the Tundra perform so well this month. I would imagine it is due to both the vehicle and the discounting. It's summer and people need trucks.

Its a great news for Toyota. Well, I think the incentive really works plus the newly upgraded parts like toyota timing belt that has been incorporated in the new Toyota Tundra - which makes the truck reliable and has great performance and handling.

Yeah, it was the timing belt that sold the cars, not the $3500 on the hood. ;-)

Money talks. It was the incentives without a doubt.
