Inside Line has some spy shots of the upcoming BMW X6 SUV/CUV/SAV thingy.
Whatever they call it, it sure looks like a "hatchback" to me, and not a "wagonback." The forward slope of the rear gate is far too severe to be considered to be anything other than a hatchback. It may look neat, once the cladding is removed, but surely the cargo hauling capacity will be seriously compromised by the rear-end styling.
Maybe what we have here is a new class of vehicle being introduced, not unlike that of the 4-door coupe that Mercedes introduced with the CLS?
Hmmm...

I bet the actual roofline is significantly lower than the camoflauge suggests. Look at how low the hatch window is. Also the rear quarter panels curve in immediately before that huge mess of cladding.

Wow! Another SUV that BMW fanatics would surely love! :) It has an interesting design and styling. I wonder what other new feature will it have? How is it performance and handling? Anyways, I'm sure that BMW maker of bmw emblem had equipped it with some of the best parts and accessories to give satisfaction and comfort. I can't wait to test drive it and have my personal assessment with BMW X6

I wonder if more segmentation will really increase sales, or if this will just cannibalize the X5. Seems almost pointless to me.
