Okay, I gotta admit I'm not a big fan of Peugeot styling. That goes for all their vehicles. They're French. They're interesting, for sure...
And now we have this new Peugeot 308 RC Z 2+2 concept to contemplate. Clearly inspired by the Audi TT, Peugeot took a great idea and ruined itâwhich I didn't think was possible, but they somehow managed to pull it off...
In any event it's powered by a twin-turbocharged 1.6-litre gas engine that produces 218hp. Peugeot claims a 100 km/h (62mph) in 7.0 sec and from 0 to 1.000m (62.3 miles) in 27.0 sec with a top speed of 235 km/h (146 mph). Fuel mileage is reported to be 6.7lt per 100 km which translates to 35.1mpg.
The concept vehicle will be introduced at the Frankfurt auto show in September.

It does 62 miles in 27 seconds? I think I'm a little confused.
I guess I'm just different. I think it looks good. But then, I also felt the 908 looked good too. The Toyota Celica-inspired headlights really flow well with the RX-8 nose.

Hmmm... that does sound strange. Must be a typo on Carscoop's part that i just copied and pasted without reading it as well as I should have.
This is from Global Auto Index:
For example, its maximum speed of 235 km/h is attained in sixth gear and it takes only 7.0 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h. In gear acceleration is impressive: only 7.5 seconds in 5th gear from 80 to 120 km/h. At the same time, fuel consumption is very reasonable with 6.7 litres/100 km in the combined cycle, or just 160 g/km of CO2 emissions.

I think it looks pretty good as well, however, I would never buy it soley because, well.....it's French.

I think it looks way better than a TT, but I can't think of anything that doesn't look better than a TT, IMHO.

Bulbous. Repugnant. It looks like a TT in the side panels, one of the newish suppository-like Eclipses in the back and Mickey Rourke in Marv guise from Sin City in the front.
Quite possibly one of the most hideous things I think I've ever looked at.

It looks good but the TT looks better!

The little kick-up in the B-pillar reminds me of the 90-93 Subaru Legacy.
