Are vehicles going to the dogs? Well, could be...

It turns out that many car buyers take their dog (or cat) into consideration when they make their vehicle purchase. The carmakers are now realizing this, and are gearing up to address the concerns of pet owners...
In Japan, Honda has introduced a "Vamos Travel Dog Edition" van (pictured above). Wonder how long it might be before we see something like that here?

Neat idea. Our pooch sits between the kids in the back seat, with a harness on.
 
And don't forget that harness! I was rear-ended pretty hard a couple of years ago, and it was just me and the dog in the car, and he was fine. Startled, but fine. I was belted in and also fine, of course.
