The General Lee getting some serious bids!

The other day I put up a posting about "The General Lee" Dodge Charger, of Dukes of Hazzard fame (The General Lee is up on eBay), being auctioned off on eBay Motors. At that time the bidding was at $2 million or so. Now it up to almost $10 million!

So is it worth it? Or is this some sort of joke?

Full story here...
UPDATE: Going, going, GONE! Winning bid is $9,900,500.

No surprise. Auctions and collectibles do funny things to people.

Ex: would you pay $20-30,000 for a crumbling piece of plastic with some fading, chipped dwarfs painted on it, with a warped oil painting behind? If you're collecting Disney SNOW WHITE animation cels, people do!

I'm gonna have a good chuckle if it's a deadbeat bidder.

Biggest joke I've seen all year. Will be even funnier if in 3 years the car is auctioned off for $20 Mil.

Let's wait and see the actual sales price. I bet this falls through.
